Ancient 500 Year Old Oak Tree ILLEGALLY Felled | Whitewebbs Park Destruction Exposed

Описание: On April 3rd, 2025, a 300–500-year-old ancient oak tree in Whitewebbs Park, Enfield, was shockingly and illegally felled without public consultation, community notice, or clear explanation.

This tree, a nationally significant Pedunculate oak (Quercus robur) with a 6.1m girth, had stood for centuries, supporting an entire ecosystem of birds, bats, insects, and fungi. Its destruction has left the local community heartbroken and searching for answers.

In this video, I visit the site, document what’s left, and speak honestly about the damage done — not just to the tree, but to the UK's wider treescape and natural heritage.

Some points to add...

🚨 There was no visible signage on the contractors vehicles.
🚧 The contractors didn't appear to be in uniform.
🌳 Not protected by a TPO — but should it have been?
🔍 Enfield Council are investigating this as criminal damage
