❇️డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేద్కర్ రాష్ట్ర సచివాలయంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఈ ప్రణాళికను ఆవిష్కరించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రి తుమ్మల నాగేశ్వరరావు గారు, ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి కె. రామకృష్ణారావు గారు, ఉద్యాన విశ్వవిద్యాలయం వైస్‌చాన్సలర్ డి. రాజిరెడ్డి గారు మరియు అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

❇️రాబోయే ఐదు సంవత్సరాల్లో 1.32 లక్షల ఎకరాల్లో పండ్ల తోటలు, 2.45 లక్షల ఎకరాల్లో కూరగాయల పంటల విస్తీర్ణం, దిగుబడులు, ఉత్పత్తిని పెంచడం లక్ష్యంగా ప్రణాళికలో నిర్ధేశించారు. వచ్చే ఐదు సంవత్సరాల్లో రూ. 921.40 కోట్లు సాగు పెట్టుబడిగా, అలాగే రూ. 942.50 కోట్లు డ్రిప్ కోసం పెట్టుబడిగా కేటాయిస్తే, ఒక్క రూపాయి పెట్టుబడికి నాలుగు రూపాయల లాభం పొందే అవకాశం ఉందని ప్రణాళిక పేర్కొంది.

❇️ఈ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం రూపొందించిన రకాలు, సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానాన్ని ప్రస్తుత విస్తీర్ణంలో అమలు చేయడం వల్ల ఏటా రూ. 1,341 కోట్ల ఉత్పత్తి విలువను సాధించవచ్చని అంచనా వేసింది.

❇️వివిధ పంటల్లో మిగులు, ఉత్పత్తి లోటు ప్రాతిపదికగా కార్యాచరణను అమలు చేయాలని, మిగులు ఉత్పత్తి ఉన్న పంటలు, లోటు ఉత్పత్తి ఉన్న పంటలు గుర్తించి, వాటికి అనుగుణంగా విస్తీర్ణం పెంచడం, ఉత్పాదకత సామర్థ్యాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేయడం, పంట యాజమాన్యం, మార్కెటింగ్ వంటి అంశాలను ప్రణాళికలో సమగ్రంగా వివరించారు. ఈ ప్రణాళిక పుస్తకాన్ని డాక్టర్ డి. రాజి రెడ్డి గారు, డాక్టర్ ఎ. భగవాన్ గారు, డాక్టర్ జి.పి. సునందిని గారు రూపొందించారు.

Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy unveiled the ‘Telangana State Horticulture Development Plan–2035’, prepared by Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University. The comprehensive plan lays out clear strategies and targets up to 2035 to enhance the cultivation, productivity, and value addition of horticultural crops across Telangana.

🔸 The Chief Minister released the plan at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat. Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, Chief Secretary to the Government K. Ramakrishna Rao, Vice Chancellor of the Horticultural University Dr. D. Raji Reddy, and senior officials were present on the occasion.

🔸 The plan envisions expanding fruit orchards to 1.32 lakh acres and vegetable cultivation to 2.45 lakh acres over the next five years, with a focus on improving yields and production levels. It proposes an investment of ₹921.40 crore for cultivation and ₹942.50 crore for drip irrigation. As per projections, every rupee invested could yield a return of ₹4.

🔸 By implementing improved crop varieties and modern technologies developed by the university, the state is expected to achieve an annual production value of ₹1,341 crore.

🔸 The plan also provides a detailed roadmap for addressing crop-wise surplus and deficit through rational area expansion, enhanced productivity, better crop management, and robust marketing systems—ensuring sustainable growth of the horticulture sector in Telangana.
