Bee Yang is a respected traditional Hmong song poet of kwv txhiaj. Yang is the recipient of a MN State Arts Board grant for Folk and Traditional Arts, a Pollen 50 Over 50 Award recipient, and a winner of the Sally Award for the Arts in Initiative. Trained at the foot of the great song poets of his time, Bee Yang has lived his life as a refugee of war, toiling away in the factories of America.
