One of my main mentors was a
Robert McMahon, formerly of Spancil Hill, Co Clare.
I wanted to share some memories from that era.. only a small handful.

I count myself blessed to have been imprinted those early days with all the fun, mischief, brilliance, and larger than life legendry that was singing with Robbie, listening/being in the presence of, sleeping over at his place, eating Maura's sangwiches, and taking her bread home with me!, being coached by Robbie in my years competing in the Fleadh Cheoil.
