Thunderstorms with light to moderate rain are likely in several Odisha districts from March 15 to 19, the IMD said. Meanwhile, temperatures have crossed 40°C in parts of the State, with heatwave alerts issued for Jharsuguda and Sambalpur.With a trough now running from Northeast Bihar to South Odisha, light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over several districts of the State from March 15 to 19, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted on Friday.
