BODYWEIGHT BONFIRE from BJ Gaddour, former Men's Health fitness director and author of the bodyweight training book YOUR BODY IS YOUR BARBELL!
Start the week STRONG and get some with this sweet Your Body Is Your Barbell circuit! There’s a built-in warmup, meaning each move preps your body for the next move and the exercises get progressively harder as you go down the list. WARNING: The final 2 minutes are straight hellfire!
Perform each move for a minute with little to no rest between moves:
1. Bear Crawl Shoulder Sweepers- Left
2. Bear Crawl Shoulder Sweepers- Right
3. Glute-Ham Walkouts 2.0- Left
4. Glute-Ham Walkouts 2.0- Right
5. Leg Kick Pushups- Left
6. Leg Kick Pushups- Right
7. ISO Split Squat Calf Raises- Left
8. ISO Split Squat Calf Raises- Right
9. Reverse Burpees
10. Double Pushup Split Jump Burpees
That’s 1 round that takes 10 minutes complete. Do a single round as a starter or finisher. Do 3-5 rounds for a full workout, resting 1-2 minutes between rounds.
