A growing body of health research suggests that ultra-processed foods may be the new tobacco when looking at health impacts in the United States, including increased diabetes, cancer risk, and other diet-related disease outcomes.
This webinar will introduce the issues including the latest research and rising interest in ultra-processed food in the current food/health discourse. Presenters will also discuss current policy efforts to address the health impacts of ultra-processed foods.
