Twenty-two years ago, Feet of Flames absolutely rocked Hyde Park. To this day, it is considered by many to be the definitive statement in professional Irish dancing. Subsequent Lord of the Dance performances would go on to even larger audiences -- at times over 100,000 people -- but Feet of Flames serves as the closing bookened to an unbelievable journey that had started two years prior.
There was an amazing after-party for all the dancers that night. And the big question everyone was asking: what NEXT?
The intervening decades gave us Celtic Tiger and three wildly different iterations of Lord of the Dance: the Feet of Flames world tour, the Return tour, and Dangerous Games.
And, again, as we all look to the inevitable horizon of a post-pandemic world, the question arises...what NEXT?
Every ending is a new beginning.
