Описание: Rhabdomancy, divination by rod, wand, staff, stick, or arrow, is found throughout the scriptures. In some cases, it is approved by the Lord. Rhabdomancy includes cleromancy, the casting of lots, and belomancy, divination by arrows. The Liahona is a form of belomancy. Cleromancy is well attested in the Bible and Book of Mormon. Talking trees and staffs are part of the mythic record. The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is a type of talking tree. The rods have been used for divination as well.
