Canada's capital has so much to offer. We did a free walking tour that covered all of the main downtown sights (such as Parliament Hill and the Rideau Canal), but also made it a priority to explore the nature spots outside of the city. Ottawa is surrounded by so many gorgeous lakes, hiking trails, and parks. Most of them are only a 30-min drive away too. If we had more time, we would've also made a day trip to Montréal. But that can be for next time!
