Sometimes you just want a song to match your mood. For that one song to just itch your brain right. That's where spotify's personalised mixes come in. Spotify looks at what you've been listening to, the songs you like, the artists you vibe with and propose to make the perfect personalised playlist for you. Feeling chill? Cool they've got a Chill Mix. Feeling blue? They've got a Sad Crying Mix. But the more you scroll the more you uncover the seemingly endless depths of their ai-generated playlists from Angry Tuna Mix to over 40 different Dogs Mixes... what even are these playlists? Why are they here? That's what we're here to find out.

I've split the findings into a couple of categories.
The first being 'Not Unhinged At All'.
These are the run-of-the-mill playlists you'd expect like driving playlists, shower playlists, lo-fi chill playlists.
Then we have 'Niche Situations' these are the playlists for more specific situations in life like Morning Strut Mix for when you're strutting down the park, in the morning and need a confident beat.
'It Gets Kinda Weird' is the next category. These are the titles that make you go okayyy??? Like the 40 different dogs mixes like Relaxing Yoga Meditation Dogs Mix or Romantic Dogs Mix.

This leads us to 'Titles Are Literally Weird' for example Weirdcore Mix. Don't ask me what that is.

And lastly: 'Trauma'. These are the mixes with the most seemingly randomly generated names like Mathcore mix, Egg punk mix... Vampire mix (that was just Ed Sheeran songs). I mean I get he is pale but...
