If you’re in the Scottsdale area this week and are a Ferrari or Magnum P.I. fan, listen up. Bonhams Auction is going to be selling the 1984 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole that was used on the set of the popular detective show, Magnum P.I. and was driven by Tom Selleck himself.
The car’s only had 2 owners since its time on the show and is almost completely stock…even coming with the factory tool kit. The aftermarket Tubi exhaust was added but they will include the original piping with the car. It’s a 232-HP V8 Ferrari so you can bet it’ll drain your checkbook. Bonhams is estimating it to go for between $150,000 and $250,000. According to Hagerty Insurance that’s a bit steep but when you add in the “cool factor” of being a TV car, I guess they’re hoping someone will pay up.
