According to reports, the woman had gone to the fifth floor and was waiting for the lift while returning to her apartment on the fourth floor. In a tragic turn of events, she reportedly attempted to open the lift door before the elevator cabin had arrived. The door opened unexpectedly, causing both the woman and the child to fall into the lift shaft.

The woman sustained severe injuries and died, while the child suffered serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital. The incident has raised concerns about lift safety and maintenance in residential apartments.
