Authorities are responding to a barricade situation on Gary Drive in Strongsville.
Police are asking residents in the area to "remain indoors and in their basement if possible."
"We will update when more information becomes available," said Strongsville police in a Facebook post.
3News has a crew headed to the scene and is working to learn more details.
On Facebook, Strongsville City Schools posted at 8:33 a.m. that there will be no school for Whitney Elementary students and staff on Wednesday. The district noted that all other schools will remain open.
