Acanthus montanus | Gorgeous Foliage | Easy and Fast Growing Plant! Let’s Propagate With Updates!

Описание: The Acanthus montanus is native to various mountainous regions in Africa.

Their gorgeous leaves sport crocodile scale pattern, and the edges of the leaves are extremely serrated and sharp. This means that neighbours kids will not play near your front porch.

Able to take a wide variety of growing conditions, this fast growing plant is easy to grow, easy to propagate.

According to traditional medicine, this plant has long list of medicinal uses that is WAY too long to mention here.

Look at how long mine has vined in just one year. I took 2 generous sized cuttings. But ladies and gentlemen, please handle with care as the stem has sharp spikes!

As with all plants, you only need 1-2 leaves per cutting. I stuck them in good old tap water with nothing added.

In a other group of cuttings, I stuck them directly into potting soil. Remember, you only need 1-2 leaves per cutting. Keep the pot slightly moist at all time and place these propagates in bright indirect light.

In just one month, its rooted generously! Its even put out baby vines with fresh new leaves! This truly is one of the fastest plant I’ve propagated with 100% success rate in water and soil propagation.

Back at the mother plant, new vines has appeared from where we last made the cut.
