Hi YouTube, we're in the thick of the playoffs and why not show some love for the playoff teams? Today's CotW is the 1957 Chicago Cubs cap!
The cap is from Roman Pro as part of the Cooperstown Collection. 1957 was the first year the familiar "red C" in its current form was placed on the caps, along with white piping along each of the 6 panels. The following season, the piping was removed and the Cubs have kept the design ever since.
While the team did not do well that season, the following two seasons were great for Mr. Cub, who won the MVP in '58 and '59.
