Another amazing chemical reaction that provides a great way to start a fire! Phosphorus can be dissolved into carbon disulfide (CS2) and then poured onto some type of fuel. Once the carbon disulfide evaporates, the phosphorus will combine with oxygen in a stellar combustion reaction! Please don’t try this at home! Phosphorus is highly dangerous and should only be handled by trained professionals!
