Tommy “Tiny” Lister Jr., beloved actor and wrestler best known as Deebo in Friday, also gave life to Finnick, the small but cunning fennec fox in Zootopia 🦊. After his passing in 2020 at age 62, Disney honored him for Zootopia 2 by using archival audio from his original recordings 🎙️, with the family’s permission. Carefully edited unused takes allowed Finnick’s voice to continue in the sequel. The film’s end credits are dedicated to Lister ❤️, making Finnick his final role and a touching posthumous tribute to his incredible work.
