Rockman 6 UH v 1 1 Part 1 Napalm Man

Описание: My second no-save-state (except at the beginning and end of each video) run of Rockman 6 Unique Harassment, this time on the much more merciful version 1.1. Minor bugfixes and some item placement changes aside, this version gives you full life when bosses switch phases and also allows you to totally refill your items and weapons after each Wily fight. These are very welcome changes.


I take a different route in this run, starting with Napalm Man. His first phase pattern is: He has 3 options. 1) Forward dash, leap back, and triple shot. To avoid, be at least a body length away from the wall and jump the second shot, saving your buster shot until you start to fall so that you can hit him; 2) Bomb launch. To avoid, either slide forward or backward if room permits, or dodge the bomb itself and be in the air above it when it lands; 3) Two low jumps, followed by a high jump. Slide under to avoid, trying to keep him as close to the wall as possible when he lands.


Phase 2. He has 3 options as well. 1) He can shoot two Napalm Crackers at you. These will nullify your invincibility shield if they strike you. Simply jump over them to avoid them, being wary that he might fire one diagonally upwards if you have a quarter screen or less distance between you and him; 2) He can summon two Boobeam traps, taking less than a second to do so. These will periodically fire at you unless destroyed; they are not very damaging; 3) He will summon a targeting reticle that will home in on your position. It will start to flash, then fire a series of 3 VERY damaging blasts forward from its current position. Make a short hop as soon as you see it start to flash to avoid it. This is the attack you want to see most, as Napalm Man will remain stationary until it disappears, giving you plenty of time to shoot him. He will normally alternate between 1) and jumping when he's not calling the reticle.


He's weak against D. Chute, but C. Slip makes a good secondary weakness, as I learned from htrb's run.
