Audax BRM 300km 2025 | Makan-Makan 2.0

Описание: Rolled out at 5:00 am from Klebang, Melaka. The first 100km were calm and flat, before the route turned into endless rolling hills under a fierce tropical sun.

The road cut through forests, palm plantations, and long FELDA stretches where shops were scarce and energy management became critical. Towns like Jementah and Gemas felt like brief returns to civilization before being swallowed again by remote roads.

Then came Durian Tunggal at km 256 — with the finish almost within reach. A hidden pothole appeared out of nowhere. I slammed into it hard. The impact destroyed my rear derailleur — completely gone.

After nearly 14.5 hours of fighting on road, the heat, and myself, I had to accept the one thing every randonneur hates to say:

Always remembered:
Audax is not a race. You don't have podium. Is all about self management, planning and strategy. Make sure this ride is fun and always believe in yourself, nothing is impossible when you want to fulfill a dream. A lot of people will tell you that you can't do it, that you don't have what it takes, but if it is in your heart and you feel it, there is nothing that will stop you. It is like the sun - you can't block it: it will shine regardless, if that is what you want.
