Creating a CNC spoilboard can be tricky, especially getting that perfect flat surface. This video breaks down the process step-by-step, revealing essential tips and tricks for a flawless result.
The settings I used in Easel for my surfacing file are a working piece of 16.7" x 12.25". That piece was at a position of X: - 0.350", Y: - 0.138". My cut depth was at 0.00787".
For my 710W router, I had a feed rate of 40 in. /min. Plunge rate of 9 in /min. Depth per pass of 0.00394". Fill Method was X axis raster.
Speed of 710W router was at "4" which corresponds to roughly 18,000 rpm.
