Hey crew — today we build an updated Six Samurai (Primite / Onimaru) list for Master Duel 2025, walk an easy opening combo, show a unique strategy you can steal, and test whether Samurai still slashes the meta. Short, punchy, and perfect for viewers who want action-packed games and sharp card choices.

Key cards:
Anarchist Monk of the Six Samurai — If you control a different “Six Samurai” monster: you can Special Summon this from your hand. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: add 1 “Six Samurai” Quick-Play Spell from your Deck to your hand.

Primite Roar — Pay 2000 LP, declare 1 Normal Monster name; declared Normal Monsters and you can Special Summon the declared Normal Monster from your Deck in Defense Position.

Assault Blackwing — Onimaru the Divine Thunder — Cannot be destroyed by card effects.

Easy opening combo (example) — goal: quick board + search
Normal/Known opener: Anarchist Monk + a generic Six Samurai (e.g., Kizan/Grandmaster searchers). Special Summon Monk (its SS condition).
Use Monk + another monster to Synchro Summon a Six Samurai Synchro (the Synchro gains the Monk’s Level-reduction continuous effect).
Use the Synchro + on-field support (Six Samurai Quick-Play spells you fetched / Six Samurai United) to extend into disruption (link or extra Synchro plays). Result: early-level control (locks opponent plays that rely on Level/Rank matching) + a searched Quick-Play for responses.
This line is low-iteration but very consistent — Monk = search when sent, + level compression helps you outplay many Synchro/Xyz lines.

Unique strategy idea:
Hybridize Primite tech to make a beefy Normal-monster toolbox: use Primite Roar + Primite Normal bodies alongside Samurai extenders. Primite Roar protects declared Normal & Primite monsters from battle and can revive a Normal from deck if you’re empty — combine that with Samurai board-pressure (Anarchist Monk searches and Synchro-level control) to create boards that are both sticky and disruptive. It’s unexpected, viewer-friendly, and creates clicky moments when a Normal monster refuses to die.

Is Six Samurai still strong in the 2025 meta?
Short answer: Yes — viable, not dominant. Six Samurai has recent Master Duel tops, active decklists and tournament results through 2025, and fresh tech (new tuners/Monk + Primite tools) that keep the archetype competitive in mid-meta slots. It’s a great rogue pick that punishes greedy opponents and shines in skilled hands, but it’s not a guaranteed Tier-1 auto-win vs top meta grind decks.
