Hi everyone today I'm testing Rise/Shadow of the Tomb Raider with dual Xeon E5450 and E5345 in DX11 vs DX12 mode. Will DX12 mode help utilise the 8 cores for better performance?
*GTX 1050 ti overclock: +80 core +500 mem
*Nvidia driver 472.12
*should have turned aa off for ROTTR
*occasional gpu bottleneck but still able to see dx11 & dx12 performance differences with the xeons
*audio muted for first part of SOTTR as music is copyrighted
Using Windows 10 Pro 20H2

EDIT 15/12/22:
Quickly tested power consumption for 2x e5450s in Rise of the Tomb Raider with the same settings: 290-325W range, usually in the 310s.
