Here's a stunning and creepy Technicolor sequence from the classic Silly Symphony "Lullaby Land" (1933), scanned from an old Technicolor nitrate print thanks to The Cinema Museum of London.
I absolutely love this musical number, and I love Technicolor cartoons from the '30s; I find them more fascinating than the '40s ones, and it's great to think that in the early '30s it was already possible to create such great cartoons like these. It's also amazing the fact that this old nitrate print is still in circulation for its age. It's sadly incomplete, but it's a nice looking nitrate with great colors!
