Help arrives on the farm - and not a moment too soon! And Sarah gives birth to a bouncing baby BOY!

Jabez is a rebel, with no consideration for the rules of society. Born to a working class family of farmers, his intelligence earned him a scholarship to a private school. This showed him how life could be for others and he started to resent his background.

Jabez fell in love with a girl from the adjoining school, her father landed gentry and he was not about to let his little girl marry beneath her. After threats were issued to Jabez and his family, and realizing since they owned their land there was nothing he could do, he sent his daughter, Sarah, away to another school. Broken hearted, Jabez finished school and moved to the city to get a job as a factory manager.

7 Years later, with both his parents dead, Jabez returned to the family farm. Most of the land has been sold, and he is left with a modest wooden house in a decent size plot of land. He has little money, having spend his wages on women and gambling, but the death of his father was the wake up call he needed and he is determined to make the farm a success again.

Unknown to him, Sarah is back in town. She went off the rails at her new school, angry with her father for tearing her away from Jabez, she caused all the trouble she could. After returning home, she had an affair with a married man, and her father disowned her.

He bought her a modest house in a different town....Jabez's town, and other than the clothes on her back that is all she has.

So are these two star crossed lovers destined to meet again? Or will life lead them down a different path? It is all in the hands of the Sim Gods!

Decades Challenge Rules:

1890's:
May only marry within their ethnicity
May only marry and have a relationship with opposite gender
Outside toilets
No electricity (Lighting is a problem here, use candles or lanterns)
Must always ‘try for a baby’ no just woohooing
Girls born may only have the creativity bonus
Women take care of the children and tidy the house, may help garden
Female children may only move out once married.
Male heirs only, if there are no boys, a married girl's husband may inherit
Wooden furniture only (No upholstered beds only quilts and blankets)
Old fashioned stove and fridge (I downloaded a pantry item to help with the aesthetics)
No showers only bathtubs
No jobs, money made through gardening, painting or woodworking
Wooden walls and floors
House must only be decorated with impressionist or classic paintings
(Must have a cow plant ready for the 1910’s so start now)
