I found this keyboard at my local thrift store for about $4. At first, I had no idea what it was. I just grabbed it with some other stuff there. Once I got home, I then realized that the person from the "tablehooter" website the identical keyboard under the name "Sankai". After reading I have concluded it was the same keyboard that has been rebadged. I think this keyboard was made somewhere around the early 2000s (2001?). This thing can take 6(!) double-AA batteries or a 9V power supply (nonstandard plug). Looking around the web, it seems like this keyboard was made for the European market. I have no idea how this thing was able to make it here to the US despite having an illegal 9V power socket (3.5mm jack was used instead of the standard 9V socket) and it being wired PARALLEL to the batteries! Unfortunately, this thing only outputs mono (from the factory) despite the CPU supports stereo. I think one of the speakers on this particular unit is not working (I can only hear sound from the right channel).
