How to Network Your Way to a Job

Описание: Networking is a complex process—one that can be daunting for some
while very natural, even energizing, for others. At the outset, it is
important to create a strategy.

Once you complete your research, it is time to shift to developing an action plan. Many job seekers create an activities calendar
for a week, a month, or longer. Be realistic, be honest, and create a
blend of activities both within and outside your comfort zone. You are
your own marketing agent! No one can “sell” you better than you can—
not even a professional recruiter! You must be “out there” if a potential
employer is to know that you might be a great candidate for a new
opening.
