This video is first in the series of 3 videos where we will be discussing conceptual and procedural aspects of compulsory license of patents in India covered by section 82 to 94.
In this video we discussed about the principle of working of Invention in India (section 83) which plays a crucial role in setting up grounds for granting of compulsory licenses for inventions in accordance with section 84, 92. We also discuss about obtaining compulsory license for exporting of pharmaceutical products to another country under section 92A.
Then the video touches upon the concept of revocation of a patent under section 85 due to non-working of invention.
Finally, the video talks about the patentee's perspective in terms of how to revoke compulsory license on its patent in accordance with section 94.
