This peacock was designed by Adolfo Cerceda. The paper I used to fold my favorite peacock is called Marbled Momi using the back side of the paper. I will link to the exact paper that I used, but explore their website and you will find many beautiful and unique paper to fold with!

This origami peacock is folded from a 2x1 rectangle and can also be folded from a dollar. The peacock can be shaped with the tail feathers up or down, both ways look amazing although the peacock has a difficult time standing on its own when the feathers are up.
