and of the Holy Spirit,

V. O Jesus! meek and humble of heart,
R. hear me.

V. From the desire of being esteemed,
R. deliver me, O Jesus.

V. From the desire of being loved,
R. deliver me, O Jesus.

V. From the desire of being extolled,

V. From the desire of being honored,

V. From the desire of being praised,

V. From the desire of being preferred to others,
