We start off in the U.S. where on Thursday local time, the 12 jury members in former President Donald Trump's historic criminal case in New York, have been sworn in.
New additions to the jury, an investment banker and a security engineer, were seated after two jurors were excused, one due to an impartiality issue, and the other over suspicions the juror may have lied about having a criminal history.
The case revolves around a payment of hush money made to a porn star during the 2016 presidential campaign. This is the first criminal trial for a former American president, and it represents a significant challenge to his efforts to regain the Oval Office.
It is expected that jury selection for 6 alternates will conclude on Friday, and the judge presiding over the case has predicted that opening arguments will commence on Monday.
