Slate Digital's Virtual Mix Rack offers a lot of flexibility for dialing in a vibe on your samples. In this example a driven VCC channel set to the Brit 4K is fed into the FG-N, where a high pass is applied, along with some mid range and top in clarity. The London Preamp gets smashed for warmth and color via console mode, while FG-Stress squeezes the dynamics so they don't get lost under the rhythm section. CS-Lift adds some air and presence at the end. This all gets fed into the VTM for added color and glue.
