Minister of Agriculture addressing the crowds at the opening of the World's greatest pumping plant in Norfolk (natural sound). He starts by saying that he attended the launch of the greatest ship ever made (Queen Mary) and continues by saying that he is to open a set of pumping machinery which is also World's greatest.



Another man assists the Minister in starting the machinery. Various shots of the machinery working - these pumps will drain the water from fens and transform them into highly fertile agricultural land.
