Central Alabama Electric Coop, a not-for-profit, member-owned electric utility serving more than 42,000 meters in a 10-county area north of Montgomery, recently enlisted the help of a helicopter equipped with rotating saw blades to work on right-of-way clearing in hard-to-reach areas of Coosa and Elmore counties.
