Sonic.exe Blood Tears: Fall of the Angels is the finale to the Sonic.exe Blood Saga, as well as a 2D platformer Sonic fangame created by ReXeR061, As of December 1st, 2024, the game's page which it shares with Blood Tears has 47.5k views and 57 likes. The game was released on July 8th, 2020 on Blood Tears' current game page.

The game takes place after the bad ending of Blood Tears, following up on Executor having successfully killed Sonic's friends, but he isn't through with his goal just yet.

The game was made with Modern Sonic Worlds, the engine is meant to replicate the Modern Sonic gameplay while also sticking to the classic 2D perspective of things.

Unlike the rest of the games being powered by Not So Simple Sonic Worlds: Open Edition, the DLC is upgraded with a brand new engine modification called Modern Sonic Worlds by Yoni Beltran (aka Yonatankr). The engine is built off Not So Simple Sonic Worlds and tries to imitate the style of Modern Sonic gameplay while keeping the 2D classic Sonic perspective. The game itself is a linear platformer fangame with only having one outcome. The only playable character in this is Executor, you play as him traversing through different levels while fighting the main cast once again as well as the archangels.
