Tesla Shanghai Gigafactory hits 4 million vehicles as deliveries accelerate

Описание: Tesla’s Shanghai Gigafactory marked its 4 millionth vehicle rolling off the line today. In six years, the facility has contributed nearly half of Tesla’s global EV deliveries, reinforcing its role as the company’s most efficient plant, capable of producing one car every 30 seconds.

With the recent launch of the Model Y L and the long-range rear-wheel-drive Model Y, Tesla China’s website shows that all 2025 Model Y units are sold out, and only limited Model 3 inventory remains.

CPCA data shows the factory delivered 86,700 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles in November — up 10% year-on-year and 40% month-on-month. As Tesla’s global export hub, the Shanghai plant supplies Europe and Asia-Pacific markets, exporting over 35,000 vehicles in October 2025, the highest monthly export volume in two years and a key driver of Tesla’s strong Q4 delivery momentum.
