Ever since I first tried the Zoom H6 Essential, I've been wanting to try using it to mic one of my acoustic drum sets. Of course, living in an apartment, this simply wasn't possible! Now that I'm working in a proper house, I've finally been able to set up my acoustic drum set, which means it's time to see if the Zoom H6 Essential's stereo XY microphone can produce decent sounding drums by itself! Stay tuned, because in the near future I'll be plugging all of my drum mics into the H6 Essential as well, and we'll try to actually get some drums worthy of being in a proper song!
