For the monster denizens of Bone Island—even across timelines—the day that Stigmehh came along, it seemingly unleashed the rampant population of Jinxflies upon the island, causing misfortune to everyone and everywhere they went. Aware of the possible chaos these pests could cause, the Stigmehh would use its innate ability to mimic the buzzing frequencies—and even the pheromones—of the Jinxfly to attract as many onto itself as it can. While the Stigmehh keeps the Jinxflies at bay, it has unfortunately become the centre of superstition by the monsters it is protecting. Many monsters try their best to avoid the Stigmehh’s presence due to its affiliation to the Jinxflies. “Some essential duties come with a price”, it would think to itself, but sometimes the Stigmehh wonders if IT itself is any different from the things it has sworn to contain.
