Renault Symbioz review – another Renault SUV? | Road Test

Описание: If you’re on the hunt for a new family SUV that’s spacious, generously equipped and attractively priced, the Renault Symbioz might just tick all the boxes.

The French manufacturer has plenty of history when it comes to family wagons, and this latest addition to its SUV range sits between the Captur and Austral. The Nissan Qashqai is perhaps its biggest competition though – and the Symbioz certainly gives it a run for its money.

When it comes to economy, practicality and price, the Symbioz has a lot to offer. Its efficient E-Tech full hybrid powertrain combines a 1.6-litre petrol unit with an electric motor to offer 145hp and a game-changing range of 630 miles – nippy enough to get around town and comfortable to drive on longer stretches. What’s more, it offers a very impressive 60mpg – compared with the 54.3mpg promised by the Qashqai e-Power.

On top of that, the mid-spec techno esprit Alpine version, featured above, offers plenty of space, practicality and technology, including a 10.4-inch Google-based touchscreen and a boot that can extend to 624 litres – ideal for the next family adventure.
