Webinar Hosts: Alex Kiminski, MNWiC West Central Region Coordinator

Conservation Professionals: Tarah Young, UMN Extension Educator
Kelly Anderson, Livestock Specialist with the MN Department of Agriculture

Tarah Young is a University of Minnesota Extension Educator in Hubbard County who has an M.S. in Applied Plant Science from the University of Minnesota. She grew up on a small Hereford cattle farm in Buffalo, MN, and specializes in forages, soil fertility, and pasture management.

Kelly is a Livestock Specialist with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. She specializes in grazing livestock of all kinds for all purposes. In addition to her duties with MDA, Kelly, along with her husband, run a herd of 120 Angus cows in West-Central Minnesota. They have worked with the US Fish and Wildlife Service to rotationally graze nearby Waterfowl Production Areas to benefit wildlife habitat for over 20 years. She has also recently added a flock of sheep to the operation for increased grazing diversity.)
