In the Court of the Crimson King (nearly Full album COVER)

Описание: In October 2019, I covered King Crimson's 1969 progressive rock debut In the Court of the Crimson King. Most of the music was recorded on virtual instruments on Mixcraft 8, but I also played guitar and bass on a few of the songs. I recorded the vocals on my Android phone.
I used the free VST RedTron for the Mellotron patches. Mixcraft doesn't come with a built-in Mellotron patch.

I played bass on "I Talk to the Wind", "Epitaph" and "The Court of the Crimson King". Electric guitar on "I Talk to the Wind".
I played acoustic guitar on "Epitaph" and "The Court of the Crimson King" but I can't fingerpick, so the guitar only comes in when the chords are strummed. Otherwise, the guitars are just VSTs.

My aim was to cover the songs as faithfully to the original recordings.
I also drew the album art on MS Paint, tracing the original album cover.

I initially recorded this cover for a project in 2019 called "Rocktober", an offshoot of the songwriting challenge February Album Writing Month (FAWM). The premise of the Rocktober project was to cover any song you like and submit it to the site, using SoundCloud/YouTube/other as a hosting source for the material.
