Kaan Turan was born and raised in the Silicon Valley. After 12 years in California, his
parents divorced and he involuntarily moved to Istanbul, Turkey. He spent the
next 4 years struggling to learn a new language, make new friends, and
counter his borderline obesity. His grades
sank, his weight rose, and his social life died as he began to isolate himself to his
room. All until the age of 15 when coming to a simple realisation motivated him
to excel in everything that had negatively impacted him.
Kaan Turan is a student who moved to Turkey after living in California for 12 years.
