Cold weather has a big impact on pressure-sensitive adhesives, including those used on VELCRO® Brand tape.
If tape has been stored in a cold garage, shed, van, or warehouse, the adhesive can feel dry or non-tacky when you first take it out. That doesn’t usually mean it’s faulty or past its best.
