Описание: Welcome back to our LEGO History Shorts series — where we build history brick by brick and bring the world’s turning points to life in 60 seconds. In this episode we travel to September 1914, and the banks of the River Marne in France, as Allied and German armies collide in what became the First Battle of the Marne. The German war‐plan, the Schlieffen Plan, aimed for a lightning victory: swing through Belgium, circle behind Paris, and force France out of the war within weeks. But the rapid advance overloaded German supply lines and stretched their right flank thin. On 6 September, French commander Joseph Joffre ordered a daring counter-attack. Troops rushed by taxi from Paris, fresh French and British divisions poured in, and the German armies, exhausted and exposed, were forced to retreat. The result? The German advance was halted just 30 miles from Paris, the hope of a short war evaporated, and Europe settled into the long, bloody stalemate of trench warfare. Our LEGO retelling captures this moment of frenzy and pivot: minifig German advance, French & British reinforcements, taxi convoys from Paris, the turning of the tide. Every brick tells a story of resistance, surprise, exhaustion—and the moment when the war changed forever. 👉 Subscribe to follow the series as we go on to build more key WW1 battles—every brick, every moment. 🔔 New episodes weekly. ⚠️ Don’t forget to like, comment with your favourite LEGO battle moment, and share with history buffs & LEGO fans alike! #LEGO #WW1 #FirstBattleOfTheMarne #HistoryShorts #Legohistory #GreatWar #Animation #StopMotion #BattleRecreation
