2025 Honda NX200 Detailed Review

The Honda NX200 is a touring motorcycle based on the Hornet 2.0 and the latest offering from the Japanese bike maker in India. It is essentially a rebranded CB200X, which has been on sale in the country for the last few years.
The NX200 is the second ‘NX’ branded motorcycle in India after the NX500. Honda believes the NX nomenclature has a better brand recall for adventure bikes, compared to the CB range. Moreover, to help it stand apart from the CB200X, Honda has made a few tweaks to its design. That said, the biggest update comes in the way of a new TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and dual-channel ABS.
Powering the Honda NX200 is an 184cc, single-cylinder motor that also powers the Hornet 2.0. This engine is OBD-2B compliant and is capable of pumping out 17.03bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.1Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Although the Honda NX200 is positioned as an adventure touring motorcycle, the suspension setup tells a different story. It shares the upside-down forks and monoshock with the Hornet 2.0, which is a road-going motorcycle. The braking hardware is also the same with 276mm disc up front and 220mm disc at the rear accompanied by dual-channel ABS.
Powering the bike is the same 184cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine but it is OBD2B-compliant now. The power and torque have seen a negligible drop and now stand at 16.7bhp and 15.7Nm, respectively. This unit comes paired with a five-speed gearbox along with an assist and slipper clutch. The hardware package, meanwhile, remains the same as before. It continues to ride on 17-inch alloy wheels with USD forks and a monoshock while braking is handled by a single disc at both ends.

While the overall bodywork has remained unchanged, the 2025 Honda Hornet 2.0 boasts a new set of graphics and comes in four colour options including Pearl Igneous Black, Radiant Red Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic, and Mat Axis Gray Metallic.The updates are same as Honda NX200.
