Stocks good for calendar are ETFs like SPX, SPY, QQQ etc. If you are in Australia you can do it on S&P/ASX 200 or if you are from UK you can do it on FTSE 100. You create a calendar spread by purchasing a long-term call option and selling a short-term option on the same strike against it, to reduce the cost basis of the long option.
