Lieve discovered Auroville at the end of the year 2000, and came to live in Auroville in 2009.
She started working in Matrimandir, and when she found accommodation in Creativity, became the manager of Creativity Guesthouse. Through that work, she got involved in the administration of the small guesthouse umbrella unit Exploration, became a member of the Guest Facilities Coordination Group, an executive of the Exploration, and finally a Guest House Trustee.
The appointment of the new Secretary and Governing Board started the necessary changes in Auroville that she had advocated for since several years. Feeling that these developments are the reason she had come to Auroville, she decided in January of this year that she wanted a piece of the action and give her time and energy to the materialization of the City and Mother's Dream. She joined the technical team of L'avenir d'Auroville / Auroville Town Development Council, where she now fills the role of Office Manager.
