COLORADO LOST CREEK WILDERNESS

Описание: My best advice is to download the App All Trails. Pull up the Lost Creek Wilderness Trail. It’s a 27.7 mile loop in the Pike National Forest.
On day 1 the altitude really got to me. It was really hard to breathe and to catch my breath up there. But I was really excited about seeing those Rocky Mountains
On day 2 my breathing was much better and the views getting up to the Summit was incredible!!
On day 3 we just hiked a few miles to another campsite and got ourselves out of the rain. Even with the rain it was still incredibly beautiful out there.
On day 4 we hiked to this incredible campsite where we got to see a mother Moose with her youngster. It even snowed on us some ,which made for some more beautiful scenery. Had a lot of fun hanging out and watching the Moose in the big open fields.
On day 5 we walked out to some beautiful creek crossings and got to see some more Moose. We headed back to Denver to get a steak dinner.
I highly recommend this loop. Incredible scenery and you don’t have to have any permits for camping.
