DPR48 (pronounced D-P-R-forty-eight) is Project Redux's premier girl group, established in 2011 as the newest international sister group of Japan's AKB48. Based in Shanghai disneyland project redux, the largest Disney park located in Chuansha New Town, Pudong, Shanghai, China, the group has become a cultural phenomenon. The group does this by blending music, fan interaction, and performance into a unique idol experience. They first adopted the concept of "idols you can meet", before switching to "idols that come to meet you" in July 2029. They sung the English version of AKB48 songs
The group opened its theater, located on the japan pavilion of the world showcase, Epcot of shanghai Disneyland on 8 September 2027. Fans can attend daily performances at any stages anywhere in the park or the theater itself, which are subject to change at any time.
