Loc extensions can be washed weekly regardless of whether they are synthetic or human hair locs.
Loc extensions do not require maintenance. They require regular maintenance at the root, just like normal locs. The joint does not require maintenance. It should be permanent and guaranteed.
Loc extensions should not slip. Slippage is a sign of poor extension method.
Ask your loctician before installation if they can wash them immediately after installation before twisting the base. If they say no, run.
